What does this mean ?

A battery is a device consisting of one or more galvanic cells, which store chemical energy and make it available in an electrical form. Other types of electrochemical cells include electrolytic cells, fuel cells, flow cells, or voltaic cells.[1] Formally, an electrical "battery" is a series-connected array of similar voltaic cells ("cells"). However, in many contexts it is common to call a single cell a battery.[2] A battery has a voltage, measured in volts, an internal resistance measured in ohms, and a capacity, measured in ampere-hours, which may vary due to many factors including internal chemistry, current drain, and temperature. Generally, battery life can be prolonged by storing the battery in a cool place and using it at an appropriate current.[3]
